Pixel Theme Studio is a theme and template design site dedicated to creating "Real World" concepts for individuals and small businesses. I started PTS after seeing so many other sites putting out cookie-cutter designs, but worse, developing bloated themes that greatly affects load times and the overall stability and compatibility of plug-ins and extensions. So I decided to start PTS and to see how I can make a difference and provide the end-user with realistic designs.

A Little About Myself

I'm not new to theme design...for several years I worked within the web site design industry developing sites for business clients. In 2009, I decided to change to a new business model of theme design and development...much like others have done. My goal is to try and develop each theme or template to be as unique as possible and to prevent the "cookie-cutter" look and style that so many have done. This is why comments I get are from end-users who are happy to finally see something different and something for real businesses.

My design background started with HTML static sites - much like everyone else has done - eventually I moved towards css based sites, and then I finally taking the plunge into the realm of content management systems.

Joomla! has become my primary focus. Joomla! is an award winning cms platform which is a system that is extremely flexible, scalable, and despite a little  administrative learning curve, it's actually a wonderful application to work with. WordPress on the other hand is another cms I started to work with last year and has also has its own learning curve, but ultimately, my goal is to design my themes for both platforms.

What's Next?

I will continue making improvements and to fine-tune my themes and templates to continuously take them to the next level without sacrificing what I believe in. There are many theme sites out there, and although it's becoming a saturated market, there is always room for quality enhancements. I won't be designing themes just to get them out fast, I decided to put themes out when they are "ready" to be released and have gone through quality beta testing with attention to detail.
