Persistence

Persistence Theme TemplatePersistence is my first theme and template for January, 2010, and it's definitely a good start for the rest of the year by focusing more on business. The Persistence theme offers a great balance of colour palettes that blend nicely and giving your company an edge in professional style. This theme boasts a new concept that I use for the Pixel Theme Studio website by offering a collapsible banner header.

Don't let the default banner background scare you away with the gold and brown tones as this can easily be changed out for one of your own images; or perhaps you prefer a solid background colour instead? In addition to this, you may have noticed that the top main menu actually floats above (on top) of the image...just a nice little effect I added.

This theme is best suited for business - of course - but it can be used for a variety of business concepts from corporate financial, to product web sites, and even a professional blog can be part of this simple yet classy theme.

    Very cool, the Joomla version arrived! I loaded it up on my site and now having fun with this new theme. I definitely like this one because it's not cluttered with crap that other theme sites fill their themes up with. This is perfect for my business site. Thanks for Persistence!

    Hi Bryan...took awhile with "persistence" but eventually got this one uploaded. Over time, I might add more styles to this one as I started to think of some new things but for now it's time to begin work on the next theme. This one took a bit of time due to the holidays but also because I made this first on WordPress instead of Joomla first. Normally it's easier to do the Joomla version first then follow through with WP, as appose to the other way around which takes longer for some strange reason. Anyway, enjoy!

    Very nice template. Bought a license for clients, and it is mostly working out. Very irritated to see the Inset Column does not appear to work. Space shows when the Page Wide Thin Thin template is selected, but there is nothing in it. Tried loading a plain text widget into it - nothing. Tried placing Calendar widget into it, again nothing. Not sure what to do next. Wishing you had better documentation for troubleshooting the template.

    This is where I don't mind saying I goofed up. I didn't name the inset column correctly for the WordPress version which I had Inset instead of "Inset Column". However, because of you letting me know this, I immediately updated the theme so now it displays correctly. This is why I love member and user input for times that I might miss something. Thanks!

    Hi Børre, hopefully you got my email reply before, but for anyone else here, yes, you can purchase as many themes as you want and if you add the support membership, you can do this any time later.
